Improving your anger management skills begins with the following:
Commitment to making a change.
This includes coming to classes and participating.
This includes understanding yourself better, recognizing how you feel inside, noticing signals from your body, and receiving feedback from others.
This includes planning ahead to avoid anger triggers and anger inducing situations.
The key components of the Anger Management Essentials Program include:
- Understanding Anger Communication and Listening Skills Emotional Intelligence and Empathy
- Developing Healthy Relationships and Boundaries. Understanding co-dependency Stress Management
- The use of Cognitive Behavioral tools to improve thoughts and beliefs Anger Management
- Letting go and forgiveness
